Scandbook specialises in the production of hard/soft cover books of various sizes and with cover options.
Hardcover with dust jacket
A case-bound hardback book covered with coloured (e.g. Efalin) or printed paper. The book is wrapped with a dust jacket, usually printed in four-colour.
Hardcover
A case-bound hardback book covered with printed paper, glued to the cover board.
Softcover and Paperback
Soft cover does not have a hard case; the cover is printed on coated board with a basis weight of 240 grams.
Paperback has a simpler paper and a slightly thinner coated board with a basis weight of 220 grams. We optimise the choice of material to make as cost-effective a product as possible.
Softcover and Paperback with flaps
Soft cover and paperbacks can also include flaps.

In our ambition to produce cost effective, optmised products we are focusing on a limited number of standard formats.
Optimised Extents
To optimise your product, it should be based on standard materials and in a size that will minimise the amount of trim waste. To help you to optimise your product we would like to offer suggestions concerning production as early as possible.
