ScandBook conducts activities that are subject to notification in accordance with the Environmental Code.

80 percent of the book paper in Europe is produced in Scandinavia. The company’s book paper is mainly delivered from Sweden, which minimises transport distances compared with if Scandinavian publishers establish book production countries outside Scandinavia. In that case the paper must often first be shipped from a Scandinavian country and then back to the publisher.

ScandBook does not allow any hazardous substances to leave their factories without destruction. Waste paper and other waste is sorted and sent to recycling.
