Wahlstr\u00f6ms Bokf\u00f6rlag separerade produktionsdelen, som \u00f6vertogs av B. Wahlstr\u00f6ms Bokindustri AB.<\/p>\n<p>Verksamheten v\u00e4xte och efterhand blev lokalerna f\u00f6r tr\u00e5nga. F\u00f6retagets lokaler var utspridda p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga platser i Stockholm och transporterna var mycket tidskr\u00e4vande. 1967 flyttades f\u00f6retaget till Falun. Att det blev Falun berodde p\u00e5 att staden ur transportsynpunkt l\u00e5g p\u00e5 l\u00e4mpligt avst\u00e5nd fr\u00e5n Stockholm. Man upplevde ocks\u00e5 att staden hade bra service att erbjuda f\u00f6retaget och de anst\u00e4llda.<\/p>\n<p>1982 gjordes omorganisation och B. Wahlstr\u00f6ms Bokindustri AB blev ett dotterbolag till J. A. Lindblads Bokf\u00f6rlag AB och bytte namn till ScandBook AB. Meningen var att ScandBook skulle ut p\u00e5 marknaden och ta tryckuppdrag \u00e4ven fr\u00e5n andra i Wahlstr\u00f6ms Bokf\u00f6rlag.<\/p>\n<p>1987 s\u00e5lde Wahlstr\u00f6ms ScandBook till Aktietrykkeriet i Trondheim. 1990 k\u00f6pte Aktietrykkeriet tillbaka f\u00f6retaget och fortsatte sedan att driva det fram till 2002 d\u00e5 den danska tryckerikoncernen N\u00e9rhaven tog \u00f6ver f\u00f6retaget.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_11259\" style=\"width: 207px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scandbook.com\/sv\/om-oss\/historia\/pocket-bocker-sprutar-fram-pa-lopande-band\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11259\" class=\"wp-image-11259 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scandbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Expressen-artikel-15-maj-1976-197x300.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"197\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scandbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Expressen-artikel-15-maj-1976-197x300.webp 197w, https:\/\/www.scandbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Expressen-artikel-15-maj-1976-462x705.webp 462w, https:\/\/www.scandbook.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Expressen-artikel-15-maj-1976.webp 655w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 197px) 100vw, 197px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-11259\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">En artikel fr\u00e5n Expressen &#8211; L\u00f6rdag den 15 maj 1976<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I december 2002 k\u00f6pte ScandBook sin kollega i Smedjebacken och sedan dess har b\u00f6cker producerats i fabriker b\u00e5de i Falun och i Smedjebacken.<\/p>\n<p>I oktober 2006 bytte f\u00f6retaget \u00e4gare igen. De nya och nuvarande \u00e4garna \u00e4r ett riskkapitalbolag med plats i Stockholm, Accent Equity-partner samt n\u00e5gra anst\u00e4llda med ledande befattningar i bolaget.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00f6sten 2009 startar ScandBook sin nya Pocketfabrik i Falun och ut\u00f6kar verksamheten med ett nytt aff\u00e4rsomr\u00e5de.<\/p>\n<p>2015 slogs Scandbook samman med Print IT i Klaipeda, Litauen.
